Getting Info?

Hi Everyone,

Is it just me or have others found the same problem?

The problem to wit is getting sufficient and clear details about some deal someone or the other has to sell (namely off of newsgroups like this one).

I am still new to this for the most part but have been in contact with several people saying they have a deal(s) to sell and when I try to get the info I need to make an offer its almost like pulling teeth from a chicken.
Something as simple as getting just the total payments, interest, face value and amount of payments is sometimes an exercise in extreme patience :-)

I try to be very precise in what I need so that isn't the problem.

Any suggestions on how you more experienced professionals get what you need (info wise) would be greatly appreciated by all I am sure.
