buying mortgages

I am interested in buying and flipping private mortgages. I know the land titles office keeps records of mortgages,but I am having trouble finding them online.
I have heard of people living in one city and flipping mortgages from the other side of the country,through the internet.
can anybody help me find this kind of information?
