Note Investor would be a much better title. Broker's have a deservedly bad reputation with many note sellers. They would like to know they are dealing with someone that can get the job done, not just another broker trying to make a quick buck.
Even though you may not have the funds to buy directly yourself, look into two things. First, there are many sources of funds and private investors that could give you the ability to actually buy notes. You can buy and then turn around and sell the notes shortly after or even keep them long term for your portfolio.
Review the articles at this site on funding notes and using private investors.
Second, even if you do not have funds available at this time, you can find other investors or brokers that have that capability. If you have a local or national investor that will buy your notes, you can confidently deal with sellers.
If you are just hoping to tie up a note and post it on some listing service, that is a risky and un-productive way to do the business. There are better ways. Begin with the free articles here at this site and the free "e-course" at www.papersourceonline.com.
