interested in more info on paper buying/selling

I just recently viewed a tape of John Stephanchik's paper selling and was very excited to give it a try. Until I saw everything on the internet about the FTC sueing him for false claims. Is there anyone who does this and knows that it works? Does anyone have info on finding lenders to buy papers if I get started and find sellers? Hope to hear from someone!!!!!!
