Of course, there's nothing wrong with that at all. About once a month or so there is a legitimate copy of my course on eBay, though that has really declined lately. Many people say they would not sell their copy of my course at any price.
It's just that on eBay, there are people that think their road to riches is to make illegal copies of copyrighted material. Some have made hundreds and hundreds of dollars before I have been able to shut them down. Interestingly some lie through their teeth clear to the end.
I rarely see a student selling a course, but I do see people that have bought a course from me on eBay that turn around and sell again. Many of those make one copy and then sell the original. Also illegal, but nothing I am going to waste my time with. It's the guy that buys video duplicators and puts out one copy every week that bothers me. For a time I had allowed a dear friend to handle all the eBay sales and she was supporting her family by doing so. So, the crooks were literally stealing from her little kids. She put her husband through medical school and now he works for us. So, at the moment there are no people allowed to make copies to sell. The course is only available through my office.
So, yes, of course people can sell their legally purchased course just like any other asset, but no one is allowed to make copies to sell.
