Need Investor for Paper

I am looking for a company or individual who will buy the notes I locate and will work with me to close deals.
Being new the paper processing I am hesitant about and need a company that can work with -- that I can submit quotes to to learn what they would pay so that I can quote what I need to earn on the front end.
The course I bought years ago from John Stephanchik offers good working knowlege, but his company SMI is no longer around -- or is it ?
Does anyone know if John is working the business?
