I have bought a franchise that does has the same idea of commission express. I do payday loans and cheque cashing. I am satisfied with the franchise. I make good money although the franchise office is making the big bucks. What you are really buying is their proven program and software - everything is done for you so less trial and error eats up your profits. However, you could start your own "commission express" and make twice as much money in the long run. Also, the profit potential is usually a little different than reality. I was told a profit margin of 30% per month and I am actually earning about 20%. Franchise systems also have you set for a specific time ie 10 yrs then you have to pay another franchise fee. Have a lawyer look into any documents you get and do independent investigations on some franchises that the head office did not give you. They always give you the ones they want you to talk to.... Alot of your profit goes to pay your royalties, from the gross, not the net...
